Maximum intensity projection of a confocal xyz time series (Fig. 3C). The movie shows a field of view with several smoothened YFP-labeled cilia, with the cilium reconstructed in Movie S4 outlined in white. Each stack consisted of 5 planes separated by 4 μm, and each stack was taken with a time resolution of 2 Hz.
