Movie S1.

A rotation series of electron diffraction patterns of a typical thin catalase crystal. A series for rotation (tilt) angles from 25 to 32.5°. Each frame covers 0.5° during the exposure time of 2 s, corresponding to ∼0.03 electrons per Å2. Diffraction spots at 2.5-Å or higher resolution are still visible even in the last frame. The red line overlaid on the diffraction patterns represents the rotation (tilt) axis. Viewed with XQED, a graphical user interface program developed here.
