Movie S8.

Leak of small molecular dye Alexa Fluor 488 (green) from a capillary, visualized by Texas Red-dextran (red) in blood plasma after focal laser injury. After a short pulse of Alexa Fluor 488 (10 µL, administered through internal carotid artery) passes through the capillary, the diffusion of the dye to the surrounding tissue is visible around the injury site. Scale (µm) and time (s) are indicated in the movie.
