KhcmutA neurons exhibit reduced MT sliding compared with control. Representative photoconversion time-lapse movies of control and KhcmutA neurons expressing elav > tdEOS-tubulin <2 h after plating. A small population of MTs was photoconverted in the cell body and imaged for 90 s. Note that the KhcmutA neuron slides MTs much slower than the control neuron. (Scale bar, 5 μm.)
