Time-lapse microscopy of the HA-mCherry-GlfT2-expressing strain after DCS treatment. Representative time-lapse experiment in a constant-feed custom microfluidic device. The cells were grown in a supplemented Middlebrook 7H9 medium (Materials and Methods) at 30 °C. DCS at 40 μg/mL was added at 10 h and removed at 16 h. Images were recorded at 15-min intervals after removal of DCS. The movie was recorded at 5 frames per second.
