Movie S3.

Neutrophil recruitment and oxidant generation in an inflamed monocyte-depleted mouse. Movies show a glomerulus in a kidney of a WT mouse after clodronate liposome treatment to deplete monocytes, and 1–2 h after receiving anti-GBM Ab. Only three neutrophils (green, labeled with anti–Gr-1-A488) can be seen undergoing sustained retention within glomerular capillaries (blue, labeled with Qtracker-655). Furthermore, no neutrophils display detectable intracellular reactive oxygen species generation (red, visualized by DHE-associated fluorescence). (Left) A merged display of all channels (Gr-1, Qtracker, DHE). (Right) The same sequence in the absence of Gr-1 staining to allow easier visualization of the DHE signal. (Multiphoton microscopy; duration in real time, 20 min.) (Scale bars: 10 μm.)
