Movie S1.

Visualization of the μgel network architecture in fibrin–μgel composite materials. Fibrin–μgel (8 mg/mL and ϕ = 0.11 ULC μgels) composite networks were formed with 1.0 U/mL thrombin and imaged over time. μGels at ϕ = 0.11 (blue and red) in 8 mg/mL fibrin (green) show that at higher fibrin concentrations and high ϕ, microgels slightly jiggle around within the μgel domains. Three channel images were acquired using a 60× objective on a Zeiss LSM 700 series confocal microscope over 30 frames over 248 s. (Scale bar, 20 μm.)
