Movie S2.

Movie of HeLa cells exposed to UV light. Time evolution of the unstained organization of HeLa cells using 63×, 1.40 N.A. oil-immersion objective for cells continuously exposed to UV light. In this movie, each frame was collected continuously every 22 s. Cells exposed to UV light display a characteristic transformation in both the chromatin and cytoplasmic nanoarchitecture. Over the first few minutes, minimal changes are observed. However, both the nucleoplasm and cytoplasm rapidly evolve before their dynamics spontaneously arrest.
