Nuclear translocation of Ryk-ICD following induction of Smek2 expression. NSCs were transduced with Ryk-ICD fused with GFP (Ryk-ICD-GFP) and a doxycycline-inducible expression vector harboring Smek2 fused with mCherry (mCherry-Smek2) using a lentiviral system. Upon doxycycline treatment, mCherry-Smek2 was expressed, and Ryk-ICD-GFP began to move into the cell nucleus. Images were acquired every 10 min after doxycycline treatment for 2 h using a Zeiss LSM 5 Pascal microscope.
