Expressed in M. xanthus cells, free PAmCherry was not traceable at 10 Hz but became traceable when the time resolution was increased to 15-ms. PAmCherry diffused quickly along the long cell axes. One molecule is shown as example. MreB particles were imaged at 67 Hz, and the movie plays at 67 Hz in real time. (Scale bar: 5 μm.)
