Movie S2.

Breaking weight measurements at the graft junction. A microextensometer pulled apart an Arabidopsis plant 9 d after grafting while force was measured using a force sensor, and images were captured using a Leica SP5 confocal microscope. The same experiment is shown in Movie S1, but here, the GFP and red fluorescent protein channels are shown. The shoot is on top (p35S::GFP expressing), and the root is toward the bottom (pUBQ10::PM-tdTomato expressing). (Scale bars: 200 µm.)
