Resident CD8 T cells form long-lasting contacts with macrophages in the stroma of human lung tumors. The slices stained with anti-CD8 (red), anti-CD206 (green), and anti-EpCAM (blue) antibodies were imaged with a spinning disk confocal microscope. Tracks are color-coded according to CD8 T cell displacement length. Frame interval is 30 s. The animations represent 3D reconstructions of sequential z series. A still image is shown in Fig. 2C. Note the presence of autofluorescent structures that appear in magenta around the tumor islet.
