CP-depleted cells fail to show abnormal midbody maturation. Confocal spinning disk movies of HeLa cells expressing GFP-CEP55 (green) and dyed with 50 nM SiR-tubulin, a dye that stains microtubules (magenta). Time was normalized to the point of abscission (control n = 10) or failure for CP (n = 6) acquired from two independent experiments.
