Maximum intensity projected 3D visualization of labeled Arc neurons derived from POMC-expressing progenitors and their connectivity. 2 mm slices of the Tg POMC-ChR2 mouse brain were processed through the iDISCO method. Immunoreactivity in this representative volume-rendered video shows prominent arcuate connectivity with the dorsomedial, paraventricular, and lateral hypothalamic nuclei in the Tg POMC-ChR2 mouse brain.
