Video of a water droplet spreading quickly on a surface of connected, re-entrant cavities. The droplet reaches an unmeasurably low contact angle (< 5°) within 1 s of deposition due to rapid cavity filling. The blurry particulates on the surface (left of the droplet) were not within the droplet contact area.
