An environmentally responsive waterbomb is coupled to two “arms” containing environmentally responsive Chomper origami elements. As the central waterbomb reconfigures and the Chompers are moved through the humidity gradient to a new environment, they perform analog-to-analog transduction of the local relative humidity to bending and straightening of the “arms”.
