Freezing droplets observed with a high-speed camera. All droplets were deposited at 0 ms on thick substrates (thickness: and 150 μm). The brightness for the 40 pL droplet cooled with dry ice (positive control) and the 200 pL droplet cooled with LN increased, while that for the others remained constant.
