Movie S6.
HS-AFM images of a mixture of CfCel6B and TrCel7A moving on crystalline cellulose IIII. The green arrow indicates the moving direction of CfCel6B molecules (left to right). The blue arrow indicates the moving direction of TrCel7A molecules (right to left). A TrCel7A molecule that became the cause of a “traffic jam” after colliding with CfCel6B molecules (20 seconds after the movie started) is shown. Forty-eight seconds later, the traffic jam was resolved (68 seconds after the start of the movie). The scan area was 254 × 75 nm (153 × 45 pixels). The scan-rate was 0.3 sec frame-1 and the movies are sped-up 3× times (0.9 sec frame-1). Total time is 75 seconds. Scale bar and height lookup table of the images are shown in Figure 2D.
