Time-lapse fluorescence microscopy corresponding to the addition of epsin 1 to 3 GUVs (under RNCL conditions) (control). An aqueous buffer solution of epsin 1-His (27.7 μM; final concentration: 2.8 μM) was added to another aqueous solution of 3 GUVs (380 μM) containing 0.1 mol % of Bodipy FL DHPE dye in the presence of DTT (2.6 mM). Membrane curvature events were not observed. Sequential fluorescence images were taken over a period of 22.5 min. Frames are 30 s apart. Movie frame rate is 5 fps. (Scale bar, 5 μm.)
