Observed using epifluorescence at regular resolution, MreB-PAmCherry filaments move rapidly in M. xanthus cells. The green arrow points to the MreB filament that was analyzed in Fig. 2. MreB filaments were imaged at 10 Hz, and the movie plays at 10 Hz in real time. (Scale bar: 1 μm.)
