Attraction of Symbiodinium cells to an artificial green-fluorescent object. Experimental conditions are the same as Figure 3B. Green-fluorescent dye (GFD)-painted (right) and non-painted (left) objects were exposed to blue LED light (20 μmol m-2 s-1) for 10 min in the presence of free living Symbiodinium. Movie speed changes to 20 times real time 10 sec after turning on the light.
