Simulation of a growing cell with wave dynamics and wave-mediated cytofission The parameters used for this simulation were: α = 1, b = 0.025, p = 0.25 and u₀ = 1. The frame rate was 20 s/frame and the frame resolution 0.15 μm/pixel. After each successful fission, the smaller daughter fragment was removed from the simulation. The scale bar represents 10 μm.
