Movie S2.
Migrating neuroblasts along the rostral migratory stream (RMS). Representative two-photon time-lapse imaging of GFP-labeled neuronal precursors along the RMS. The saltatory nature of neuroblast translocation is clearly visible: cells alternate pausing phases, in which they extend their leading process, to migratory phases, in which cells trail the soma after the leading process and actively move through the brain parenchyma.
