Video 2

Computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA) of sperm from the cauda epididymis of Zdhhc5 −/− male mice. Compared with WT mice, the video clearly demonstrates significant abnormalities in sperm parameters of Zdhhc5 −/− mice: sperm count is markedly reduced, and both total motility and progressive motility are obviously decreased. Specific manifestations include fewer observable sperm, reduced movement frequency of individual sperm, and a significant increase in non-progressive or immotile sperm.
